March Creativity Update
Little Altar Arts, Workshops, Writing Lessons, & Pop-Ups!
Dear Readers,
Welcome! You may think I’ve ghosted, and you are sort of correct, but I’ve accepted my seasonal and lunar ways. I’ve stepped away from daily online writing for now and focused on art, mixed-media projects, and in-person connections. This letter will inform you about my everlasting creative projects. You may even find something that inspires you. If this shows up in your inbox and you have not reached the end, please click “view entire message” to see the whole thing.
Thank you so much for reading!
What’s New
Local Folks! I have joined Hummingbird Market and Bloom Collective.
I’m excited to share this news. This year, I’m trying something new. I’ve joined Hummingbird Market, and through this community, I’ve got some pop-up markets and workshops coming up.
Pop-Up Markets at Haven Farm and Bloom Collective
Goats and Greens Farmers Market at Haven of Knightdale was so much fun! This farm is delightful for its beautiful property, homegrown goodies, event space, and goats! I’ll be out there again in May, but this Sunday, March 29, I’ll be at Bloom Collective. Come check us out!
Workshop: Paint Your Own Oracle Deck

Magical Heartworks Tarot: Journal for Reflection
Late last year and throughout this winter, I posted questions for each of the cards in my tarot deck. This project culminated in a journal that I published. You can find it here! If you are interested in purchasing the deck of cards, please message me! My brother-in-law prints them for me in small batches.
BOOK CLUB
What I’m currently reading: Don’t Let Him In by Lisa Jewell—OMG creepy! I’m about to start We Are Water by Wally Lamb, and based on my ugly crying with his other books, I anticipate lots of big feelings.
These books are my favorite from 2026 so far:
Symphony of Secrets by Brendan Slocumb
The Summer War by Naomi Novik
Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
This Motherless Land by Nikki May
What have you been reading lately?
That’s all for now! Thank you so much for reading and supporting my work. If you enjoy it, please consider sharing it with a friend or your sister. Follow along and be in touch here.
Love, Sam
